A large-scale project to develop Ukraine’s logistics infrastructure and build hubs totaling 1 million square meters has been included in the Ukraine Investment Guide published by the Ministry of Economy and the KSE Institute. The planned investment in WINHUB amounts to approximately 700 million U.S. dollars.

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine presented the Ukraine Investment Guide during the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024 in Berlin. The guide was prepared in collaboration with the KSE Institute, with support from KPMG, EY, Deloitte, BDO, and the Tony Blair Institute. It provides an overview of Ukraine’s key economic policy principles regarding recovery and investment attraction, as well as a detailed overview of the country’s investment landscape, featuring 95 examples of investment projects in priority sectors.

The WINHUB investment project, which TERWIN Corporation presented at URC2024, will contribute to the growth of the Ukrainian economy and the retail sector. The project involves the construction of over 1 million square meters of Class A warehouse space across four regions of Ukraine. The total planned investment in WINHUB is approximately $700 million, of which $200 million is equity capital and $500 million is investment raised from partners. These are not merely warehouse complexes, but a full-fledged ecosystem and infrastructure for business, the likes of which currently do not exist in Ukraine. The hub’s design is based on the principles of energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and ergonomics. WINHUB is a vital part of Ukraine’s post-war logistical and energy-efficient recovery.

“The war in Ukraine is no reason to put development on hold. Even despite the current challenges, now is the right time to explore investment opportunities in Ukraine. We are aware of all the risks and obstacles for investors amid the war, but Ukraine needs investment now, as this is a step toward our economic resilience and, ultimately, resilience on the battlefield. Even amid the war, Ukraine remains an attractive destination for investment thanks to its large market, natural resources, strategic location, skilled professionals, and international support,” said Yevhen Savchenko, Director of the Investment and Development Department at Terwin Group.

Investment support from Ukrainian and Western investors will drive Ukraine’s economic growth and help lay the foundation for the country’s sustainable development in the future.
